When Jayson approached me about doing a styled, cowboy boudoir-inspired shoot for his wife, I knew the exact location to shoot - my grandparents home. The houses on the street were built by my grandfather and the street name is his last name. The house my grandparents lived in, was built by my grandfather, along with his red barn and woodshop that is also on the property. My grandfather passed in 1990, shortly after I was born and my grandmother could no longer take care of the property in the early 2000’s.
So when it came to selling the house, miraculously, my parent’s good friends, Lori & Todd, bought it. Since then, they have taken such incredible care of the home and land and are always open to letting me shoot out there, as this was the 4th shoot I’ve done on the property that I spent the majority of my younger years.
Needless to say, I am so happy we could bring Jayson’s vision to fruition at such a cherished place that is near & dear to me.
Huge thank you to Lori & Todd, of course, Jayson ♥
